Adding Hubpage banners

Sometimes you get the feeling that Hubpages do not help themselves. Researching profitable Hubpages led me to a page of stylish banners -complete with links. And even then I had to do a search for them in the admin area.
However, the banners are very nice.
Click on them! (I'm hoping they work!!).
It's a rainy day and I'm going to research some more hubs in a bid to earn a living from Hubpages.
I have targeted a small financial reward for the effort - and it's obvious that I'm nowhere near the tipping point for earnings.
Having said that, I don't think Google has indexed the new hubs as quickly as I thought it would - afterall Google is meant to be a fan of the site!

Day two and another Hubpage is done

I'm way behind schedule in creating Hubs but writing them really does fill in a nice gap - especially listening to the football commentary!
My latest hub is about working from home and I'm hoping it scores quite highly.
It's also flagged up an interesting situation in how to source decent, copyright free images on the web.
I'm sat here wondering just how many hubs are using ripped-off images for their work? That isn't very fair if the writer is making decent money from the hub.
Anyway I always give credit where it's due.
Working from home - not the easiest way to earn a living!

You too can become a Hubpages writer and earn money – it’s free to set up and easy to add hubs.

Is it possible to make a living on Hubpages?

I started this blog to monitor my progress on Hubpages but I’ve seen my freelance work take over since that bold ambition was announced!(Hence my not adding anything to this blog for a year).
That’s all well and good but I’ve been standing on the sidelines watching other people start to make a decent income using Hubpages as their publisher.
So I’m going to give it another go.
From my previous research it appeared that you needed at least 30 hubs (ie published pages) to start seeing some income. Obviously, that means it’s just a few dollars being earned in a month.
But then trying to earn a passive income takes a lot of effort at the front end. You need to have a library of hubs and a reason for people to visit.
This blog is going to monitor my progress and for December I’m going to concentrate on adding hubs and seeing what the tip-off point is before traffic starts to generate any income (I’m assuming that it’s going to be rather more than 30 hubs!).
My first hubs are going to be about a cancelled job about traction alopecia. I did all the research for a client only for it to get binned.
From that set-back comes an opportunity.
Let’s see how it goes!
I can tell you immediately that joining the Hubpages’ own Adsense earning program is a good move. This is where they will show an ad that pays more over what Google is trying to display.

The links for the hubs are:
